I am going to introduce you to my teacher, Donna Ramos. She has spent the last 30 years teaching everyone around her how to live through a cancer diagnosis combining faith and humor with friendships and family.

To put it simply, she has survived cancer seven times. That in and of itself is a miracle, but when you pepper in the multitude of medical issues that arise from years of Chemo, you end up with complications that make surviving that much more difficult. In the last few years, she found out she’s living with Lynch Syndrome and that, is what prompted her desire to start a podcast (and this website).

Our plan was always to have her join me live. Unfortunately, as the days pass, that becomes a distant goal. So, I’m stepping into the role of storyteller using clips from an internet radio show we debuted back in 2008 and snippets from the podcast episodes she started in 2021. I’m not sure how far that will get us, but I’m excited to share it with you.
